2012 Summer School Application Form

Students are admitted competitively. All Students must submit a cd or dvd with two contrasting pieces or movements or arrange a private audition. New students must include a letter of recommendation from their private or school music teacher.

Minimum Playing Level:

3 octave scales, sight-reading ability, ensemble experience.
Violin: Bach Partita in E Major, Preludio^*
Viola: Telemann Concerto in G^*
Cello: Vivaldi Sonata in e minor^*

Please note, Canadian String students should be at least at R.C.M.
Level 7.

Piano Requirements:
Piano applicants should be proficient at sight-reading, as repertoire changes weekly. The applicant should be at a level where they are comfortable with the more difficult Beethoven Piano Sonatas, and/or a Royal Conservatory of Music level 7.
